Good will all around.
Any Devo fans? A short-lived band (me, my younger brother and a friend) played this one. I still had the sequences on my synth, so I decided to record it.

Made on a Mac with my eldest daughter on vocals. Strictly low budget with off the shelf filters and such. Used my Squire J 5 Classic. She played keys. standard drum machine and other sources. My lyrics. Yes the Title is somewhat disjointed Inside joke between my wife and I as the song is about her

She's very self conscious, and music is only a "hobby" for her. I wanted her hubby to sing too and play sax, he's very good ... but super shy hahah Ah well. Maybe some day.

I really liked the atmosphere with just vocal and keys, but it sounded good with bass and drum added, too.

I think living in Oregon the last decade has certainly seeped in. My wife and I have had serious discussions about leaving California for the Oregon coast. The colder clime has been the sticking point thus far.
I might have over engineered this one but wanted a "headphone" presence for the bass. I'm pretty new to doing my own AI assisted finagling. Her on keys, again, my Cirrus 5 directly into the board with an assist from a friend on the synth bass. I'm too heavy handed so he showed me how to blend it properly. Cecil is the man! Lyrics are Becca and I with the musical arrangement being mostly her with gentle suggestions from the grey beard.

Tough one here. No way to sugar coat it, many years ago my Mother committed suicide. This was an exploration of how she must have felt. It was extremely cathartic and I will never, ever, do such a thing again. I made the lyrics as austere as possible inviting interpretation and exploration.
