My latest musical creation, a mystic oriental progressive doom/stoner tune, that I named "In Orbit":
3rd take, played on my LTD B4-JR 28.5" scale length, tenor bass, tuned in A standard tuning (as in the upper 4 strings of a 6 string bass in regular B standard tuning), directly into my handheld Zoom H4n recorder, and only edited through a simple Wav editor.

Very first playaround with the Fieldtone Weaver random sampler. I think I love this thing. This was a sample of my Yamaha Reface CP on the Rhodes setting.
very good... and i have heard quite much of this genre..

An attempt at freely improvised fusion jazz, 1st take, completely uncut:

And the 2nd take, which I call "Cold Fusion II^2" :

too much time on my hands during the last big snowstorm.
slowly doing Vol2, the 1st track is soundtrack to imaginary thriller where internet gods manipulate little kids with "social apps" to hate and stalk others, then as adults committing rape and violent acts.
I've been finding time for music again and I'm back looking for feedback as I get better at guitar.
Sounds great. Feedback? The guitar is good. Good rhythm. Varied melodic and lead lines. Some expressive slides, bends and vibrato. I like it. Did you record it? I'd duck the bass doing the typical side chain with the kick. Sooo much bass there. I struggle with that. It is probably just my personal aesthetics but I think some of the longer/sustained notes on your initial melody could use a touch more life. My first thought was some finger vibrato as the note fades, but maybe not. Maybe automate a volume swell at the note fades? Double it or harmonize it with a second guitar? The song that popped into my head that has something like what you are doing is this:
Maybe completely different than what you are thinking, but there may be something there for you. I'd bet a dollar they were riding the faders to keep the melodic line up front as they mixed.

I like it a lot! It sounds like road trip music to me. I can see myself hitting the road with this playing in my car.
And the much anticipated sequel "Cold Fusion III^3":
1st take free improvisation, played on my 5 string Ibanez GSRM25 Mikro Bass, tuned to G# standard tuning, with a 1 octave up effect via a Boss XS-1, to emulate an effect somewhat similar to that of an 8 string, octave course, bass.
