Totally irrelvant TBer info share thread

I have about a 25% success rate of getting the shift key to work when holding it down to make a capital letter out of a lowercase one. Sometimes, even twice or thrice in a row.

Doesn't matter if it's a Mac, PC, old, brand new, public or private.

I have to stop my pace, literally hold the shift by itself, then press the letter, which takes about 2.7 seconds.

That's all well and good, which leads me to my second set of stats...

I do have about a 91% rate of getting the shift key to transform the lowercase letter into a cap on the first attempt, but that's only when I've typed the wrong letter!

I get a kick out of folks who penetrate their finger through an unopened bag of grapes for a sample, like it, set it down, then grab another one to purchase instead, leaving the punctured one with their aura all over it for someone else to consume.

Aside from the above, a single vine can produce on average, up to 12#s of grapes...do they think both bags will automatically be from the same vine or taste exactly the same?

This is a totally common and bizarre phenomenon. Countless people, my ex-wife included, will open a package at a store to verify that it's what they want, put it down and get an unopened one because they don't want to buy an opened package. I'd love a rational explanation of this.....

When I let the dog out, I HAVE TO dump water on the lawn where she pees or the lawn dies there.

Patching a lawn is a big pain in the ass.
We have two girl dogs, who combined with gophers, drought, and sheer bloody-mindedness meant that I abandoned having a lawn altogether. When we rebuild/re-landscape I'll put in a section of pet friendly artificial turf for them. No more lawns for me.
