Was at my storage unit today for less than twenty minutes and had to leave as a grow-op recently moved next door and our whole facility reeks of skunk, even at night.

It's still in my nasal passage and that was close to three hours ago.

I'm sending resumes to potential employers that state they drug test, some specifically mention weed, as it's legal here.

Guess I'll stay away until I get hired.

Last night I made a beef stew. Onions, garlic, parsnip, turnip, potatoes, fresh thyme, wine, beer, stock, and carrot (of course!).
Big cast iron Dutch oven full of stew.
'er indoors and I had a bowl each, and it was lovely.
Our 15 year old son had a bowl too. Then another bowl. Then subsequently more bowls until it was all gone.
I was hoping to have some for lunch today.

Bought a new car. First one ever. I feel almost normal.

And yeah, it's really nice!

It's 86 degrees here today. I suddenly discovered why seat coolers are a nice feature. The old me thought that the very idea was ridiculous.

Now it appears that I should just completely capitulate, throw my old haughty Luddite standards into the landfill, and gleefully embrace blatant consumerism. It's a losing battle!

Never needed to be quite so accurate with that sort of information, so I always assume 2 lbs.
