believe it or not, that took me some time to understand. Two reasons...1. nobody here has used a Hoover vacuum in decades, and 2. the Herbert Hoover Presidential Museum is just up the road.

oh, not a problem...just explaining my slow uptake. Hoover wasn't....oh, wait, no politics...never mind.

Hoover's museum isn't one of the fancier presidential collections, but he'd probably have wanted it that way.

It also took me a few because I live by Herbert Hoovers boyhood home which is now a Museum and was just with my buddies from the local Historical Society who were talking about some things upcoming for it earlier that day.

I will be driving by it in an hour so I will tell the House/Museum that @slobake says, "Hi!". I hope it yells back something about him sucking.

Sounds like we must be within half an hour or so of each other. I'm in the country west of Muscatine. Played a gig at the museum some years ago with Keith Haworth.

I am in Oregon, his boyhood home is a bit southwest of Portland, where he lived with his Uncle after his Parents died. From age 9 until around 14 or so.
If I was by you I would be playing with your birds, love them little guys and always enjoy your photos.

DANIA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A Florida woman faces an aggravated assault charge after authorities say she passed gas in line at a dollar store and pulled a knife on a man who complained about it.

Citing a Broward Sheriff's Office report, the Miami Herald reports 37-year-old Shanetta Yvette Wilson passed gas while waiting in line at a Dollar General Sunday night and upset a nearby customer. The report says the offended customer and Wilson then got into an argument "in reference to the defendant farting loudly."

It says Wilson then pulled a small folding knife out of her purse and told the victim she was going to "gut" him while moving as if to attack him. Wilson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
It's unclear if she has a lawyer.
