Rivers was Gen X, getting close to Millennial, Thompson was Silent Generation, Dreja as well. Anybody’s days are numbered.

I completely missed seeing that Anthony Jackson had passed, on Oct.19. An early bass hero of mine. Al Dimeola's Electric Rendezvous album was a favorite. His discography is astounding.

There are 17 (I think) Bassists out there who own one of these. I had them done when I was with Fender but I'd been working with the Moodies for 20 years. Are any of the John Lodge Bass owners here on Talkbass?

What exactly sets them apart from any other run-of-the-mill Precision, besides the autographs?

I don't know how many "run of the mill Precision" basses came in translucent blue Ash bodies with Birdseye maple necks. I must've missed all those.
