Now if we can just get Traben to make a six.

Well, the last time I talked to them I was told that there was one on the drawing board. I friend of mine recently called them about it and was told that the ONLY way they'd do a 6 is if a famous bassist tapped them to do a signature for them. Anyone in mind?

Well guys I got a big rig for my trabens to thump through. Tried to go cheap I found 2 hartke cabs with the alum cones one is 4x10 and the other is 1x15 and a hartke 350w amp got it all for about 500 bucks. Decent deal I think for two big cabs and a head. I'll try to take a photo of it all when I can.

Q-Parts. They only work for the EQ controls though. The bridge gets in the way of the volume and blend ones so I had to switch them back to the stock knobs.

Yeah, it sounds GREAT, man! As soon as I can get the digital camera from the little woman I will throw some pics up this week. It's the standard with the rockfield pre and pups, but it simply destroys.

I have an Iby BTB 405 and it's a great bass and I love it still after 7+ years of owning it, but this Traben blows it away tonally.

Before you change the pre, look for a trim-pot on the preamp, some have adjustable output levels.

Cool...I've already ordered a Aguliar OBP-3. But it's on back order, so it will be a while before I get it. I'll check that out while I'm waiting.
