Thank you, I was looking at a Schecter Damien until I saw that and had to have it. I can't really comment to much on the sound or anything yet as I'm still learning to play.

Nice! I have the standard sig posted earlier in this thread and could not be happier. Dead on with the musicman comment. It has a 'ray sound with a body shape and design that I like more than a 'ray fiver at a third of the price! I recently put on DR Black Beauties for that "none more black" look.
Congrats on a killer purchase, man.
By time the standard Chaos I ordered is back in stock, I'll probably have enough money to upgrade to one of those.... I hope.
Having said that, I thought of a question. Seeing as my Chaos won't be in until November, should I cancel my order and save up for a Chaos Core instead? Are they really that much better than the 400 dollar one they have on Musician's Friend?

For anyone looking for a Traben,"A Sharp Music" in Renton, WA has about 7 Trabens on their wall. Sorry I didn't write down the models but I know one of them was an Array 4 and there was 2 Core 5's. Look them up on the net, I don't know if they ship or not, its worth a try. I was just in there yesterday. Good luck.
just bought a Traben Havoc sig in Black Vapor. I pick it up from GC on Wed. I am hoping these are good basses
So I don't own a Traben yet, but I'm actually really impressed by these instruments. I want to know has anyone seen a traben neo limited 5 string with the spalt burst finish? I see them all over the place in 4 strings but not 5, I dig the tobacco finish with the black hardware. Anyone help me out on this? Also if anyone has an array obsession or chaos core, let me know if they are good for anything other than metal, thanks peoples.

I have the John Moyer bass which is basically identical to the Chaos Core. This bass is amazing. Seriously, go buy it now.
I mainly use this for my classic rock band. It sounds just amazing. It sits in the mix soooo good. Cuts thorugh amazingly well. It has a very chunky bright tone. It was defiantly made for metal, but IMHO it works for everything. The slap tone in it is PERFECT! I love this bass!
Thanks alot man. Iv'e been checking out those chaos 5 basses, they look sweet and look like they have freeway-wide necks, which is how I likem. Hopefully I'll get my hands on that 5 string neo limited I was talking about and then I can look into a chaos 5. Also on the look out for the discontinued tribal sun 5 basses.

Ok, well guitar center has screwed up some how, I was supposed to pick up my John Moyer sig Yesterday, but now I am being told another week.
Can some one tell me more about these basses.
Like are they dual truss rod?
are they single or double battery, what do they come with, basically I can not find anything on these basses other then wood and stuff like that. Do, they come pretty well setup or are they pretty bad? Basically any info would be great, mainly the truss rod info, and what comes in the box from Traben. I am betting guitar center will try to swipe anything good out of the box?
well, if the thing ever comes in I will send some pics and ask for my number.
