I picked up this Chaos yesterday....I wanted a 5 string and love the sound of the Pheonix. I thought I would share a pic. Say what is the difference between the Pheonix and Chaos anyway? Seems to be a weight difference but noticed nothing else.

I don't like the stock pickups, what would you guys recommend?

That looks like 2 phoenixes to me. Or a Torrent or something. Definitely not a chaos. Or is it a Kore?

Thanks for the info. Any idea what the wood is? I see a Phoenix is basswood (per Traben site). I want to weigh them to see what the difference is...seems like a few lbs.
Sorry to hijack thread. I am done.![]()
Oh ok...the Phoenix must be mahogany then...she is the heavy one. It seems to ring a little longer and a tad brighter too (eq settings set the same ad same strings)....but not much. Thanks for your help.

My Traben Array Attack arrived. Did need truss rod adjusment, had start of backbow. Neck bolts also needed tightening. Everything else was fine. Lowered bridge pup a tiny bit for personal tone taste for ti combined with neck pup. Lovely bass sound wise. Lets me get that rickenbackerish with balls sound, to nice mellow deep bass sound. Perfect match with my Ibanez Sr300. The latter does perfect to me electronica bass sound with processor. The Traben gives more the rage on, type sound that wanted for alternate. LOL. Pretty bass too. Snarfle vampyrebunny aproves.
