Trace Elliot V4 problems

Hi,

I have a Trace Elliot V4 alltube amp, and it starting to give some problems. The amp takes too long to generate sound, I mean, I have been using this amp for the last three years without problems, I changed all the tubes last year and the amp sounded perfect and it just took a couple of seconds to hear my bass after the stand by switch was off. But now, is taking too long time to start hearing the bass and today in the middle of a song the volume went low and slowly up again.

Somebody experienced the same problem with this amp?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers:)

When you changed out the tubes did you reset the bias for the output stage??

Does the amp have an elects loop? If so, link the sent and return with a signal cable and see if that helps any.
Hi. I changed all the tubes like a year ago, and the technician did reset the bias. And yes the amp has a effect loop, but how can connecting the send and return can help?

Sometimes it just works. It resolved an issue for me on my Amp before and since it worked perfectly I just never bothered forking out to get it fixed. Never question the magic of connecting send and return!
