They're not bass amps, but I have a pair of YCV80 GTR amps. They do great for me in backline rental situations when folks ask for a twin. I do have an XC800 and an XC410, looking at the 808 too. Most of my PA is yorkville, if that counts...

I have a mono block II. it's taken a lot of abuse and it keeps on going. It's great.

I have a question for anyone one who has a YC-610, what do you think of the sound? i have heard that traynor cabs don't have a lot of low end, is this true?

I'm considering picking up a YBA-3 on eBay sometime, strictly for recording, granted, if this stint with the band I've been filling in with becomes more perminant.

I've got a '66 YBA-1, with the stock tube rectifier, very much the tweed bassman/jtm45 setup.

Have had numerous Traynor amps/cabs/combos in the past I don't remember all the models except for the Monoblock II which was an awesome head.

Current gear: Yorkville (same as Traynor) xm200T combo, XS400H head, xc115 cabinet.

It delivers on the sound/tone I want but maybe that's because I basically grew up on it.

Greetings from the North,

I am a user (without shame) of the 'New' Traynor TC115 Bass Cabinet that adds copious amounts of thick n rich bouncing bootay to my rig. Oh..might I add that the amplification of said rig is supplied by one XS800H Yorkville. Now as for the other bits...that's another thread.

I have a 1974-vintage YCV-18, with the original Cerwin-Vega speaker working just fine. But I've removed that speaker and swapped in a Peavey Black Widow. The original speaker is 4 ohms, and the Peavey is 8-ohms and able to handle a lot more power; I use it in conjunction with an 8-ohm Bergantino HT-210s, powered by a MarkBass LMII. I plan to get a MarkBass Standard 151HF to replace the Traynor, but I haven't had the best of luck in getting rid of the behemoth, and I can't quite afford the MarkBass cab just yet... So I must wait...

Here's a couple pics; i replaced the worn-out grill cloth with something more colorful... I also rather crudely attached some casters underneath. I may remove these and just get a dolly to move it around, since I imagine it sounds better without them...
