Tricked Out Squier Club Part 2

I have come to realize a semi-important part of Squier ownership:
It's pretty cool to be able to have a P or J bass, as ubiquitous as they are, and still feel free to modify it as you see fit, to, in effect, make it as unique as you like. Or not.

I modded out my Squier VM Jazz V, and I must say my GAS is slowly going to a minimum since I did. This turned out to be quite the project as it became exactly what I wanted. The only thing now is that since I switched to d'Addario Chromes I notice it doesn't stay in tune as well. Higher tension strings pulling it out of tune maybe? I might upgrade to Hipshot HB7 tuners which are a direct drop in, or spend a few extra bucks and go with ultralites. And while I am at it I might upgrade to a Hipshot bridge too, also direct drop in. Then, I think she will officially be done. Now I just need to name her.

Each pickup sounds like you would expect and they blend quite well too.
does anyone know where I can get a replacement neck bolt plate for my squier vm jazz 5 that doesn't say squier on it? it's currently flipped around, but the screws do not sit flush when the plate is flipped like this.
Fender Gearhead (at GC) has blanks and so does GFS and (if you dare to try to buy from them) so does Guitar Parts Resource.
I think about 80% of neck plates are the same size. There are a few exceptions with some kooky Asian basses from the 60's/70's, and then neck plates for contoured or offset neck heels and 3 or 6 bolt necks.
Thanks for the advice guys, I just went ahead and ordered this one from Amazon. Hopefully it will fit my Squier VM 5.

Here's mine I don't know how modded it really is ii bought it like this. It's a 1992 Fender Squier Series Korean. It has Shaller tuners and bridge that I guess was added. EMG active pickups which i know didn't come in it and aren't staying in it(not a fan of active pups). honestly don't know much about it other the neck plays nice and i like the look of the jazz body and the pick guard with the p pick up. I don't know if that is original or not.

Why wouldn't a person want to buy from Guitar Parts Resource? I've gotten a lot of stuff from them the last few months!
I'm waiting to hear back from a local guy with a NIB black Squier Bronco. If it goes through, I'm considering making it into a cheap Mustang bass (not that the Squier 'Stang is expensive). Or do the standard and swap the pickup for a rail style, 4-saddle bridge, and maybe a black pickguard (never owned a black/black/maple bass, and they look awesome).
EDIT: After some Googling, I see that fitting the Mustang guard and control plate would work, but only if the whole thing is shifted towards the bridge.

If things get screwed up - like a B-O part - everything falls apart and they don't answer their phone nor emails.
Been there - done it twice - never going back to them again.

Actually --- there was a pretty extensive post about them on TB maybe 8-10 months ago where people weighed in and talked about horror stories and successes.
I finally had satisfaction, but it was fraught with absolutely no communication, and I am at this time convinced that their company exists on a kitchen table top and they just order from third-party providers as the needs arise to satisfy their customers.
I have no reservations as to the quality of their merchandise, as it was all as stated and I found it to be of good quality and fit and worked as I think it should.
Their communication - or lack of it - tarnished the appeal I have for ever purchasing from them in the future. I'm sure they could rise to a very high level of customer happiness if they'd only TALK TO THEM!

Gotta take up for them a bit.
About a year ago I ordered a bridge from them, and they sent me the wrong one.
I emailed them, got a pretty fast response(same day), and within 3 days had the correct bridge...and was allowed to keep the bridge I didn't order.
I have bought alot from them through the years...that was the only mistake they ever made with me, and they corrected the situation without any problems or delays..
About a year ago I ordered a bridge from them, and they sent me the wrong one.
I emailed them, got a pretty fast response(same day), and within 3 days had the correct bridge...and was allowed to keep the bridge I didn't order.
I have bought alot from them through the years...that was the only mistake they ever made with me, and they corrected the situation without any problems or delays..
