Indeed! My two battle axes are super modified Squires!I have come to realize a semi-important part of Squier ownership:
It's pretty cool to be able to have a P or J bass, as ubiquitous as they are, and still feel free to modify it as you see fit, to, in effect, make it as unique as you like. Or not.
Ya dig?
Pretty cool, indeed.

Pickup-o-licious! Any sound clips available?
does anyone know where I can get a replacement neck bolt plate for my squier vm jazz 5 that doesn't say squier on it? it's currently flipped around, but the screws do not sit flush when the plate is flipped like this.
Fender Gearhead (at GC) has blanks and so does GFS and (if you dare to try to buy from them) so does Guitar Parts Resource.
Why wouldn't a person want to buy from Guitar Parts Resource? I've gotten a lot of stuff from them the last few months!
If things get screwed up - like a B-O part - everything falls apart and they don't answer their phone nor emails.
Been there - done it twice - never going back to them again.
The money's gone and you wait n wait n wait n wait --- see a problem there?
