After years of owning this Bronco I finally got a black pickguard for it from Reverb. I have a GFS Lil Killer pickup in it, La Bella flats, and the headstock is signed by Bruce Campbell channeling his role as Elvis in the criminally underrated film Bubba Hotep.
I’ll put new tuners on it someday and an actual string retainer bar instead of the rubber twist tie. BC signed it right where the string tree should go but I don’t want to cover it up. Might get the frets dressed and nut swapped out at some point too.

Ash, meet Jio.It would be funnier if I knew who he was. I guess...
<sigh> Looks like I'm gonna have tostrap someone down to a chairindoctrinate another human being into the wild and crazy world of "The Evil Dead" and other wonderfully schlocky offerings by Renaissance Pictures (Hercules, Xena, The Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films, etc…).![]()
Fair enough, so I'll just leave it with this tip…to get down to the bare essence of "Bruce", or at the very least if you wanna be entertained for a couple of hours, check out "Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn". The intro gives a perfect summary of the first movie, which was basically a glorified college project, and is a hallmark of what an ambitious, visionary cadre of writers, producers, cast, effects people and director could do in the days of "practical effects" without a huge budget and a ton of CGI. Simultaneously, they showed the world that not all '80s-era horror films had to be plodding slasher flicks or cheap jump-scares.I enjoy a little schlock now and then (mostly then) but judging from that 'homage' I feel for me it would be best to simply appreciate your interest in it.![]()

That's a very flashy compliment of instruments! Love it!5 Squiers that just got new pickguards that I hacked out during the period of isolation.
The 50's CV and the matching 51 Strat both got new paint and pickguards. I also re-routed the CV for the Active EMG 35TW. Really loving the EMG especially in the Single Coil mode.

I did a lot to my Matt Freeman sig.I've had a Matt Freeman Sig P for a few years and absolutely love it. I don't feel that it requires any upgrades in any way but am curious if any of you have modded one and what was the outcome.
