I'm digging the tires on top of that first rig. That's how ya hold your lowend down.
Why not just build yourself a nice boutique pedal to give you the tone you like instead of modding all those Bassman 300's your going to buy.
NOW we're talking given the OP's declared skill set with electronics.
I know a pro touring Scandinavian bassist in a jazz-metal group who uses just one of the Bassman 300s (stock) and a dual Faital 15 loaded cab. More than loud enough for him and his guitarists are using Marshall half stacks.
And yes, he likes Peavey gear, too

Well since you are such a big deal, what did you use on your last stadium tour? From the sounds of it, you buy your gear and haul it around instead of renting it so what happened to your old rigs?
Why not ask your opener what he is using? Maybe ask management what other artists are using? Maybe don't come on the internet and act surprised when people call you out for the liar you are especially after you act the fool.
i balance my life with private and public time, i still love gear and want to talk abou it on my personal time. you guys are all anons too. 
my real life ive been off stage since my bipolar episode where i lost my mind for a while and even had to live in the mental hosp for a little while, but now im getting back in shape and ready for this up-coming global tour and im heartset on it being huu-mungus !!!

and PS holes, i used fender's rumblebass they built in the customshop back in 97, it was only a 810, split into 2 410s. 300w 6550s and i always wanted to mod it for "more"
