i found this in a tele thread somewhere else and its really important!
--------------------
Rounding off the decimal points, here are the frequencies in Hz, or cycles-per-second:
4-string bass:
E - 41
A- 55
D- 74
G- 99
(Hi G @12th fret - 198)
Guitar:
E- 82
A- 110
D- 146
G- 196
B- 247
E- 330
(Hi E @ 12th fret - 660)
Harmonic tones will be in multiples of those frequencies, doubling for each octave."
--------------------
It shows that the low E of the tele into a typical 12" speak is 82Hz so i think i im going to run everything from there and up to the soldano 100w to the full 812 stack on top. Everything lower (including up to whatever "tube harmonics" introduce) that goes to the alembic pre and crossover then SS mega watts for the folds and 18s. that would get more power exactly where i need it (the feedback and shatter i want in the feel of the ric when i ram* the pic into the strings with tortoise). *edit "strum". i couldn't think of the word when i was writing it the first time.
