Tube stack for arena rock band!

I have followed this thread quietly from a distance, and wondered the same.
If you are going to blow the doors out of the place, you won't be able to hear what the rest of the band is playing, your bass will over power all the vocal and drum mics, and no foldback will be heard by anyone (if that is the sort of levels you intend to play with).
From my experiances, best to keep the instrument levels low (even if the stage gear is for show) and let the foldback tech sort the stage levels and the PA do the out-front work.
If you are doing arena gigs on a world tour, the production manager will put you in line even before you leave your home town.

You are making entirely too much sense....this shall not stand. :D

This is actually TB talk of the the future.

There is going to be something, maybe 100 years from now or so.

Remember the Thiel air motion transformer? That happened. It failed, but the future is coming awfully fast.

I think it's going to be an all wireless deal. Individual listening experience for each audience member. By then, they'll probably pipe it straight into the mark on your forehead or right hand, eliminating the smartphone/earbud interface. Won't even be able to "phone it in".

Post humans will jack into cyberspace and live alternate data based lives. Matrix. A "concert" will be physically a no-show experience, even the band will be in individual cyber coffins THINKING they are playing instruments.
The only amp involved will be whatever powers the matrix and likely even the "sound" will be generated somewhere within the endusers cortex because something will trigger the "sound" center of the brain (much like i can do a poor playback of "pennylane" from memory until my memory fails the actual song).

I have to admit that I'm more than a little surprised that there have not been any fart jokes yet...just sayin'.

unfortunatly peavey amps are now sentient and only amplify what they feel like amplifying.

I found a reference to this very topic in a thread from 10 years from now. Apparently, those same Peavey amps were actually the pre-curser to SkyNet. Somehow, their massive inherent awesomeness capabilities accidently linked up with an OnStar satelittle, and created the first global hive-mind of maple-exploding sonic weaponry, backed by an insatiable desire bent on the dominatation of mankind and kickass stadium rock. In the future, our salvation, and the hopes of future generations lie in the balance.

In a world gone mad, where string exploding, colon emptying, feedback drenched arena-rock rigs scour the land, seeking to dominate and destroy all traces of humanity, one man was able to fight through a fog of weed and meds and blow up his maple Ric.

That man was our salvation. That man scored all the babes.

That man was the 18er.

LONG LIVE THE 18ER(que MASSIVE SONIC FEEDBACK,EXPLODING BADDIES AS THE 18ER ON HIS FLYING ARENA SITS ABOVE THE BURNT OUT HUSK OF THE WHITEHOUSE,THE BURNING REMAINS OF THE DEADLY RIC IN HAND)suddenly the spell is broken by the sound of his mum shouting.
KEEP THAT BLOODY RACKET DOWN NORMAN I'M TRYING TO WATCH THE TELLY
