Tube stack for arena rock band!

I had not heard the name before today, but looking at the bibliography, that's the kind of structural evaluation I was referring to.

My work involved smaller packages typically excited by electromechanical (voice-coil...) shaker tables. Usually MIL-Spec and FAA-flight-rated instruments in the few-hundreds-of-pounds range that needed to be tested over vibration profiles typical to their in-service environment.

But the breaking-the-dam story is the kind of 'you-gotta-be-careful' horror story told to everyone entering the field. The guy I worked for did some of the qualification testing on the Apollo-Soyuz docking ring and yes, they broke one when a knob got turned during a lunch break and it wasn't re-checked before resuming the test...

I was on the board of advisors for this shake table.

some of the frequences measured comming from jupiter(not the radio ones) are VERY low and almost certainly are a lot lower than can be detected by our present tech level instruments. its possible it may have a small solid core surrounded by a metalic hydrogen( a theoretical state for this element)and the sound is the interaction between the two. it certainly sets up a MASSIVE magnetic shield around the planet. i feel it may one day be possible to tap into this phenomenal magnetosphere. mabye even power a few arena destroying amps with it. only problem i forsee is the presence of the smaller moons. these also have magnetospheres and as you know YOU CANT MIX DRIVERS(magnetospheres)

(But he also won the 1957 hydroplane championship for Class B. By accident he discovered that - with a two bladed prop, having the trim set so that only one blade is in the water gave him greater speed.)

And then his friend died in Miss Budweiser.

i dont think we are dragging the moon in but we are slowing down because of it.but dont worry, there is a lot of other stuff that will rock the world well before that. 18ers opening night is only one of them.

sorry to say that despite silly films( usualy involving bruce willis) unless the thing were HUGE , and not even then there would be no warning,just lights out.with our current tech level we cannot watch all of the sky and even if we saw one comming there is nothing we could do about it. in the future we will probably have sentinals in the outer system that will intercept and prolly mine the things for usefull components. lets hope so. in the meantime we have to rely on the large outer planets to drag thing in.remember stuff can also come from directions outside the plane of the system. HELP US 18ER.

that's what I'm saying, the rig has to be huge, larger than the Dead's Wall of Sound and running sub infrasonic frequencies focused in order to effect maximum damage on the target.

If certain govt entities can tap into and monitor the entire world's wireless, ground, and internet communications then certainly we can focus our efforts in saving the planet from space junk. And if we can mine the stuff, so much the better to offset the costs: capitalism at its finest.

Only 18 can lead the way.

i can see a new sci fi program comming up.TALKBASS 5. space, the final front ear( geddit?) these are the voyages of the starship earth. its ongoing mission to seek out new sonic adventures. captain 18er and the sonic 7 probe the galaxy for the lowest, most ric smashing frequences, to unite the galaxy and turn it into one huge speaker cone that when the 18er activates his strings they will hear him throughout the universe AND KNOW WE ARE HERE.
