Tube stack for arena rock band!

On a whim I did a Goodle search on OP's username and it asked me "did you mean 'Ana Rica'?" I didn't of course but I followed the link anyway just to see. Oh my.

Ah man that was just too much. just too too much...

I hate coming in on the end of threads like this. It's like pulling into your buddy's driveways and seeing truckloads of empty beer bottles on the lawn, panties hanging from the trees, and a donkey tied to the fence post.

"Dude you SO should have been there!!"

:atoz:

personaly i use my hermagnite filzelth mkIV through a diverse pvl typantheic confusion matrix. when the fen kripthlast overloads it causes a partial breakdown of the gelb spilation revasticator. sounds WAY better than toobs IMHO.
ps the gig went well. but they carbon froze our drummer.oh well, plenty more where he came from.oh wait a sec, maybe not.
ps happy birthday 18.

Sweet rig! I have used to to use a Gelb Spilation Revasticator, before Gelb was bought out by Peavey. I wouldn't even use a Peavey in a wretched hive of scum and villiany.

That said, Jabba only needed 4 strings.

i only ever use 4 stringers there but sometimes go through a spineclot pondatrass pedal ( an 18 design )i picked up on a trip to aldebran before the troubles. it makes a 4 string sound like a fess woton from the antiblore era. ahh they dont make em like that anymore but i guess theres always peavey.

you know, guys, these are all well and good but I don't think these particular rigs on those planets are gonna work for 18 because as we all know in space no one can hear you shred.

I get what your saying, there is a "feel" when playing through a tube amp. If I was in a position to purchase a new rig for touring I would pickup two Ampeg Heritage SVTs with matching 8x10s. A Designs Reddi DI would be a excellent backup, still retain the feel of an amp and full tube sound to the house.

A++ on the SVT and 4x10's.

Oh, and I have bathed in the waters of lake Minnetonka! (flows to Minnehaha creek) Then to the Mississippi!

Try Gideons Bay around the point from Excelsior.

So..........I am wondering..............If the OP actually puts together the ultimate wall of bass, and he he causes ultimate feedback by just touching a fret............ ................does the band actually play a song?

I have followed this thread quietly from a distance, and wondered the same.
If you are going to blow the doors out of the place, you won't be able to hear what the rest of the band is playing, your bass will over power all the vocal and drum mics, and no foldback will be heard by anyone (if that is the sort of levels you intend to play with).
From my experiances, best to keep the instrument levels low (even if the stage gear is for show) and let the foldback tech sort the stage levels and the PA do the out-front work.
If you are doing arena gigs on a world tour, the production manager will put you in line even before you leave your home town.

true.BUT only in realspace vacuum.disturbance in the under lying energy grid (like a ship brakeing hard) will set up tsunami like waves that if large enough will break through into realspace and set off pressure waves in the spacetime fabric that are usualy mistaken for CAM ( confined anti matter explosions)hosever a close examination will reveal high photon presence and gamma radiation that makes CAM a no no. if 18 set his gear up in sub space the energy grid will respond violently ( as is 18s desire) and the resulting vibration will be detectable ove a very significat area( at least 223 kilolights wide).
ps the sound will also be visible.

Hmmm seems to me that he needs a zero point energy powered amp for this particular application and that can only mean one thing...

... Peavey!!
