Wow, a Fun & Anguish flashback- thanks for that, ThunderLizard! I always thought they did it very well considering there was very little history/experience to draw from. Anne and Bob managed to pop, rock, and groove their way through the material- good, good stuff. Hey, maybe it's time for a reunion show? And somewhat ironically, Curt (the guitar player in F&A) is now playing lots of bass in other bands.

I don't know if anyone has stated these before (I didn't see them there):

Bass Extremes (sometimes has 3 members if you add in Oteil Burbridge or Will Lee or Jeff Schmidt).

Bass-ic instinct (They played the Warwick 25th anniversary show if I'm not mistaken).

What about the newest kid on the block: S M V? Last I heard, those were some good amateurs having fun

I am not sure why Mr. Wooten ended up on the list... unless you mean his is so good that he counts as two guys.

Victor Wooten has another bass player in his band for live shows(I'm not sure if he is on any of the albums, but he could be). I don't remember what his name is. but he is there.

Hi, I'm playing a Warr guitar and a 6 string Marleaux in a band with a doublebass player. It's really fun if you find a way to make MUSIC out of this combination. Or at least when You're trying to It's risky, specially in a live act situation, but defintelly can be done. Here's one of our attempts

"The Deep". 2 bass players and a drummer. They even made several albums that were very good imho. Chuck left and now a cool guy named Jonh (cant remember his last name) plays with Mike. They sound great. Mike is Esteban's bass player also.
he is phenominal, dont really know why he is not more well known?.

the dirtbombs have two bass players and two drummers and one hell of guitar player - saw them at Twangsfest in St Louis a couple of years ago

santana used two bass plyers on Caravanserai (his best album) on at least a couple of songs - well an upright and a electric bass

the song three button hand me down by the faces, has two bass players on it

Dude, THANK YOU for posting the Dirtbombs thing.... I saw them years ago with (I think) the Supersuckers but didn't catch their name and spent quite a while trying to find out who the hell that band was..........

King Crimson toured in the 90's with Tony Levin & Trey Gunn both playing bass. Part of the double trio mania.

I thought of that too. Of course at least one of them was playing the stick at any given time so that spread out the available range (and tonal qualities) quite a bit.
