Good to hear everyone else is alright.
Im cool too.
I stayed at my cousin's place with her roomates and a couple friends even though my cousin left for Miami. Even though there was very little damage to Gainesville the storm did manage to bring a tree down on the place.
We were braving out the storm in the living room. It really wasnt much worse than a typical tropical storm that I was used to from Miami aside from a few strong gusts of wind. The rain wasnt too heavy and the wind was tollerable for the most part. At one point we decided to move our friends car into the garage since it had been hit by a couple small branches and had a dent in the roof. As soon as we were done getting it into the garage we heard a loud cracking noise and through a window I saw the tree falling on the house. It fell on the back of the house which was a sunporch modified into a bedroom and the kitchen.
I could describe the damage but I think pictures would be more effective.
More pictures showing how the house was actually dammaged can be found here.

Luckily no one was hurt and they are just renting and are not responsible for the repair costs. We had to leave durring the hurricane to a friends place where we stayed for the rest.
