Two new basses, but which one to keep?

I have prayed to the Gods of Bass, and They have Spoken....

Excuse the poor photoshop job, but you get the idea. I'm keeping the "old" one, but putting on a Tort PG. (I was already flirting with that idea). I played them both and they were really pretty close, but I discovered a deal breaker. The "new" one had a scratchy tone pot, and the bridge saddle rattled on the E string. Of course, I'm going to replace the stock bridge with a Badass anyway, but that's besides the point.

Thanks to all that chimed in. A little background, I just wanted a Jazz Bass to noodle around with. I already have a small collection, including a new Music Man Stingray HH, so there's really no need for a G&L! I just wanted a cheap Jazz to play around with, and now I know which one it is.

Gotta love the mojo on the big blocks! Now, if they only made a rosewood fretboard with the big blocks.....
