If mine ever fails I'll def just get another one!!That and a whole lot more.
It's one of the best boxes on my board. It's variables bring some great tones out of most all of the rest of my board pedals as well as being a real work on it's own. I look at it as "The one that rules them all". Remember the first time you stepped on a compressor? It will be like getting all new pedals again.
The channel options with "lots o' knobs" will have you experimenting for days if you like, or in 30 minutes you could be completely dialed in and satisfied with your board. Mine seems to work best as the last in the chain and into the front input of my D-800.
The Two Notes may well be one of the "last boxes standing" on my board.

i don't use flats, i am a round man (shape as well) and its always on. I use passive basses P and J, and its a dream, but it also comes to life when i have my Hartke VXL pre amp infront also, so if you were using an active bass, all the better.

So kinda off topic NPD, I'm not a fan of the drive on these, but if you play with a pick at times they can sound awesome running clean in front of the Le Bass in Cold Fusion mode (or clean)
I have been obsessing about a bass preamp D.I. for weeks, reading reviews of many of them and watching videos...Darkglass, Ampeg, GK, Tech 21, Two Notes. I guess many of you did something similar. I’m teetering on the edge of buying the Le Bass... it just for the studio but also for live work, whether into my amp or through the desk. How did you guys eventually plump for this pedal over all the others?

Very simply, because to my ears it sounded better than the others for what I wanted, and had great flexibility on the possible sounds on tap.
Yes, the distortion isn’t my favourite when listened to alone but the ability to mix it in with other tones including a clean tone and also the general flexibility and tube warmth appeals to me. However, it wasn’t easy to reach that conclusion because Darkglass B7k and SansAmp VT Deluxe, to mention two others are also very close. I like the tube in this, also its size and design appeals to me and I like the pretty lights!
There is a discussion about which power supply is right for the Le Bass but I can't see anything about Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus? Anyone know if that's good for the Le Bass?

Yeah, I think the most the Voodoo Labs supplies is 400ma
That’s fine, it will draw what you give it, I use a current (not voltage!) Stack cable and use 2 ports on my Cioks.
It’s most effective if it can take what it wants, but won’t damage it if you feed it less.
If you use a stack cable make sure its current not voltage or it will fry!

Got my Le Bass today. So many knobs to fiddle with. I don't even know what I'm doing half the time, but it sounds great. I like it so much I even registered, just to post this!
Anybody using the speaker sim even when connected to a cabinet? The other day, I tried using the XLR out to a 1/4 to the front of my Ashdown LB and engaged the speaker sim with distortion on channel B. I usually turn down the tweeter completely on my cab when using distortion but with the speaker sim, I was able to keep the tweeter and have a great full range sound with nice mild distortion. I'm going to try it with my big rig next rehearsal.
Yeah I did into my Mark Bass 2x10, its a really hifi speaker, i've since swapped to a Neunaber Iconoclast as the cabsim in the Le Bass is too dark, but I still run it into the front of my Mark Bass.

I am seriously considering Le Bass, but I cant find an answer to one problem. I like all the sound samples so far, overdrive in it sounds super awesome. Also the cab sim for recording direct would be great. There is just this thing, that I absolutely have to have all my dirt pedals in the beginning of my effects chain. Dirt - filters - modulation - comp - reverb. DI have to be last naturally, but with this box then I could not use the dirt side at all.
But, it has a loop. Is it after the dirt in Le Bass? Because if it is, it could work. I could have my board in the Le Bass loop and have dirt in the beginning, but still use Le Bass DI as the last out.
If the loop is before dirt in Le Bass, I have to think something else.

The loop is after the preamp circuit, which includes the dirt.
I use a Broughton LHPF as a substitute for the cab sim, but it's always-on whether I'm using a cab or not. So, yes?
Yeah this is exactly what I do, although I have my other dirt pedals in front of the Le Bass
I had band practice today and had the privilage to play my P-bass through a Fender Bassman 60's blackface. After I got home I played some more through my le bass (clean channel) into my DAW. And it's amazing how much tube warmth you get from it and how close I can get to that bassman sound.
