Two Notes Le Bass Players Club

Out of interest has anyone got a photo of the top side of the PCB, one of my LED's has a dodgy solder joint which I can likely fix myself but i've just been lazy (Sending it back from this part of Australia, for a small issue is pretty impractical).

I used to work in electrical manufacturing and had proper soldering training so i'm guessing its not hard, i'm just lazy.

New owner of a Le Bass here, trying very hard not to buy an all tube since I already have nice amps and want to try this to had some tube feel to my sound. The overdrive is very promising, not sure yet about the clean channel, it seems to compress a lot.

I have to thank @CharlieC for the tons of information you give on this forum. As an owner of a Bass V-amp, Zoom B3, Zoom MS60B and now a Le Bass it seems to me that you are everywhere. You are an incredible source of knowledge and an overall great guy always there to help.

Tubes compress naturally if you want less drop the clean channels gain back a bit and boost the master to compensate.

Wow what an amazing product! This thing sounds incredible! I tested it for good yesterday at band practice through my GB Shuttle set flat and it sounded really like a tube amp. I had my rented YBA200 next to it and was never tempted to plug it in. I had it set up in cold fusion with gain and fusion at noon and had to cut bass on both channel.

My only complain is that when I use it in fusion, I don't see anyway to use the other channels on the fly since I can't adjust for the loss of gain.

Anyway couldn't be happier, well worth the price.

If you mess with the gain and fusion knobs its not to hard to get Channel A and Cold fusion to around the same level, getting 3 to be at the level you want is much harder.

I completely agree with @simotek you can fix it so that the channels can be used independently.
I would love to give you the magic formula, but different basses, what comes before in the chain etc.
You have a great sound to work with, gently tinker and you will be fine.
Personally it is always on for me, so it's an easy balance!

Well, after reading through this thread I decided to go ahead and order the Le Bass preamp. It arrived last week and I have to say I am blown away by it. Seemed like it might be too good to be true, but as soon as I first played through it I knew it was pretty special. I am still experimenting with it, but it is already my new always-on pedal. The A channel alone I think could make any Class D amp sound great. Attaching a pic of it on my board. Still have the other pedals on the board, but may loose some of them as time goes on and I grow more comfortable with the Le Bass (i.e. loose some of the distortion pedals).
In this pedal board config, the LS-2 is really only used for bypass or Loop A when I am with the band. At home, I run the B3N on loop B and can switch through that with the LS. I don't use the B3N with the band, so it stays at home to mess around with. Routing is bass into tuner, then into LS-2 input. Loop A is through the pedals, comp first, then distortions, then Pitch Fork, then Le Bass, and then back to LS-2. The Canyon I have on the effects loop of the Le Bass. I need to play with that a bit more to figure out where it sounds best. Output of the LS-2 goes to amp.

The A channel EQ is boost-only, so flat (besides whatever coloration the tube offers) would be both knobs all the way counter-clockwise. I believe the same is the case for the bass/treble on the B channel (the mids are boost/cut, so unless there's a built-in curve I'm unaware of, flat would be noon).
