I have to also say it's an always on sound for me.

I really like what the channel A pre amp does to my passive jazz bass, they blend beautifully, that with other things as well, P bass I have to tinker more, but that is a back up bass anyways.

It's worth persevering, and if you think it's faulty try again.
It's a seriously good piece of kit

I think I'm experiencing sellers remorse... For about a year, the Le Bass was the foundation of my bass pedal board. My effects chain was Tuner->Spark Boost->Parametric Compressor->Le Bass with cab sim DI to the house.

Most of the guys that I play with use a Helix, so I took a chance and traded my my guitar pedal board, bass pedal board, guitar amp... and picked up a Helix LT. (I did keep my Darkglass Microtubes 900 head and Bergantino HDN-212...)

The Helix is nice... took me about 4 hours to figure out how to dial it in... now I have a good GK and Ampeg tone. As a matter of fact, I run the Helix into the Amp In on the Darkglass bipassing its preamp.

I can get the same "tones" but it's WAY easier to dial in the Le Bass...

But can you feel the bass like a bass rig is the question. I own an EV zlx12p(I know completely lower league than qsc ) and have rented a Yorkville parasource ps12p( kinda on par) and found as much as it sounds amazing I just didn't get the oomph that my dual Traynor SB115 rig gives me..Even one SB115 sounds more oomphy than the full range speakers. I have yet to try the k series or the k.2 series as I would like to hear how it would sound. There are a couple artists who strictly use the qsc frfr speakers as their rig but can't remember their names. One is female named Lydia I think the other male.. Search u2b.. I really would love to have a frfr speaker that would act as a bass rig but really not to sure if I'll find but maybe qsc may do the trick.. Maybe the people who own them could chime in..Thx

I usually use an Aguilar/GK rig (TH500/AG700 heads, GS412 /MB410/MB115 cabs depending on the gig), the main difference to me is the tweeter on the K12, the best way I can describe it is it makes it sound more like a recorded bass part rather than a live preformance tone.

Really.. So it sounds better? Would you ever consider only using a single QSC k12? Also what type of music do you play?

This new pedalboard post is purely to remind you all how awesome a EQ pedal works before the Le Bass. For each of my basses I have 3 Graphic EQ patches that run in front of the Le Bass on the MS-3, each has a big effect on the sound of the drive you get out of the Le Bass.

Hi Le Bass users!

Is anyone else having problems with a lot of white noise/hiss on the XLR out or when the pedal is engaged and using the 1/4" out?

I actually had to take it off of my board because my sound guys couldn't handle the white noise without muting me during and quieter times of the set. I went back to my VT Bass DI simply because it is so much quieter. I love the Le Bass but need help.

I currently working with Sweetwater and Two Notes to try and get it fixed. I tried replacing the tube and using a different power supply. No change in the very loud white white noise.

Sounds like you need to try the Gnd/Lift button next to the XLR out because you likely have a ground loop. Not sure why your sound guy, Sweetwater or Two Notes wouldn't have suggested it, its the most obvious. Although maybe you tried and maybe thats broken.

My bad for not mentioning that. Ground loop button definitely has been tried. Depending on where I have the Le Bass plugged in, the ground loop button removes hum. The white noise is still present all the time. I'm sending it in to sweet water this week hopefully to get repaired.

After many months of problem-free use, my Le Bass recently started developing incidents where sound from either channel A/B would randomly "mute out" during play. Temporary incidents of "no sound."

Through real-time experimentation, I positively traced the issue to Le Bass and not any other part of my signal chain.

As posted earlier in this thread this issue is caused by the bottom circuit board slowly wiggling away from an above-socket connection and is easily curable.
