My Le Bass is on his way to my home, I should get it on wednesday. I can't wait anymore to shape my tone with this beast !
Anyone tried it with the "new" Digitech Cabdry VR? Less features than the Torpedo, but also half of the price.

Here are mine
Cali76G (bit of Germanium dialled in) and Le Bass A channel always on for a sound I really like with my jazz bass, and nearly always with the P although sometimes I just go Cali on its own.
Dirt I use occasionally and having previously favoured Hot fusion I have grown up and prefer Cold so there is a hint of drive.
This goes into a Darkglass amp and they all stack nicely.

Can I just add for @DoctorNop this I designed specifically to cut through quite hard in the mix. When you play it on its own it almost sounds a bit rubbish, however it was dialled in for my bands mix, my basses and my playing. Also for when I engage the B circuit to make sure thebBass does not drop out too much.
You just have to twiddle to get what you want and what works for you, but honestly you won't get a bad sound out of it

@DoctorNop i was incredibly lucky in getting mine, I think because they are so good people do not love them on.
The G only 100 were made and of course the TX and L version are not in production, I think it's a question of keeping your eyes peeled and you never know, but the Compact Bass is readily available and by all accounts will do a fantastic job.

To finish the rig as I said it's a Darkglass M900 into a Barefaced Supertwin, although I am looking to get a retro One10 for giggles.
Bass is Sandberg VS4 and Sandberg MarloweDK, both with Sandberg in house pups and both passive
Clean, powerful, punchy like a punch to the guts and an uppercut to make your teeth rattle, not boomy and not too dirty although I try to have just a little fizz that is there but you sort of don't really know it unless you listen very carefully.
Big influences and tracks that I try to merge a sound from as an idea what is in my head.
Gettin Tighter - Deep purple
Heavy -Glenn Hughes (resonate album)
Pillow, Pretend, Black the sky - Kings X off Dogman album (similar sound but subtle differences per song for me and not just tuning related)
Evil - Cactus, Tim Bogert is a legend
Somewhere in that ball park is where I want to be taking from all of them
I have been lucky in getting all things in good second hand deals and I have been lucky that even though I have had to move stuff out afterwards to finance them, I could ride the cost till I did it allow me to pounce when what I wanted came up.
The LeBass is so much fun, and the next job I have is playing with maybe merging in a Hartke Bass Attack VXL to the mix, although that may be too much pre amp in one mix, but I do love them!

Le Bass is one of those pedals where it is quite hard to not get a good tone from.
In full disclosure, my only secret is my personal addiction to running FRFR, as I have forever been spoiled by the benefits of this.

My Le Bass seems to be a noisy pedal, I haven't played it in rehearsal for the moment, but do you think I'll need a Noise Gate ?
I've only played with headphone for the moment, but i feel that at high volume i will need a gate.
And you prefer it in the Le Bass loop or in the chain?
The tone stack is actually a low+high boost what set at noon, the treble boost brings out the noise, to get a flatter response with less noise on channel A, turn the bass and treble knobs to around 9 o'clock and boost the master to around 1, my favorite setting is that but boosting the gain instead of the master volume.

I watch the other one too and IMHO in a couple of posts you have been given gold dust information @CharlieC knows pretty much everything and the info from @RoeyHaviv is from a guy who did not only a brilliant demo of this pedal, but probably one of the best Demo's of any pedal out there on YouTube.
A lot of the DG posts are people getting excited about a new delivery, there is nothing wrong with that, but it's not info on the pedal.
This is a pedal you have to tweak and learn to suit your own needs and if we are not on here, we are probably playing with it!

I try to work with what I have, Working to get a budget to produce better demos in the future.
After watching this thread for several months and looking for a deal, I found a local used Le Bass. Plan on getting some time this weekend to really work with it and see what options it can provide.
@joelamosobadiah My LeBass is my most used piece of gear. It is my DI on Sundays. I like it because it has the amp sim which works well with the PA. I also use it in front of my amps to provide a little "tube" warmth and harmonics.

I used to use it for silent practice, but then i rammed it up against another pedal on my board so i cant use it, which unfortunately meant i had to buy even more stuff.......
After using it for a while yesterday, I'm sure it will be always on for me. I wanted to find a solid DI for Sunday use, I wanted a headphone out for silent practice, I wanted a preamp with a warm tube sound, and lastly I wanted a warm slightly overdriven sound. When I saw Le Bass a few months back it was the first time I saw it all in one pedal. So far it lives up to the hype. Surprisingly I had a difficult time getting much drive while using my passive P bass, but used my compressor to give it a boost in front of the Le Bass and it got plenty of growl. The real test will come while using it direct into PA though.
The video's on the Cabdry VR didn't sound that good, I just got a Neunaber Iconoclast which is slightly more but sounds really really good, far better then the inbuilt one, you can't change cabinets via midi, but its good enough you don't need to. I own a cabdryvr and is a great pedal.. you can't justify demos off YouTube especially when there was only a 1 min vid with it being used with bass.. I would
Highly recommend the cabdryvr. Sounds great through full range pa speakers as well as into the front end of a bass amp..
When you live 800km/500mi from a shop that has either you learn which youtube channels do good quality videos and make your choices based off that. For cleaner sounds the cabdryvr sounded fine, but when I listened to the guitar tracks with heavier overdrive / distortion the cabdryvr (like most cab sim's I've heard) didn't get the top end right, to me it sounded a bit fizzy and unnatural which is easy to spot listening to youtube clips, normally if you can spot something not right on youtube it will probably be not right when you play it, although you can on the other hand hide things there was enough iconoclast videos with drive to seem like it wasn't hiding much. For what its worth I picked out similar issues in the CABZEUS and every other cab sim I heard other then the torpedo and iconoclast.
Given that I use distortion getting the high end right for distortion to me was most important, getting a good clean sound is not that hard I could have used a EQ pedal where as getting good sounding distortion is much harder which is why if nothing else I made my selection based off guitar videos rather then bass ones, if the cabdryvr works well for you thats great
and maybe if I could get one and play it the high end may not be as bad as all the videos if I dial it exactly right but I didn't here a cabdryvr video that had it right where as all the iconoclast ones did.
