U.S. Masters?

Any owners of U.S. Masters here? All the reviews seem very favorable, but I've not heard much mention of them here.

I've played a several over the years in stores. Craftsmanship was good but they were all so light that they just didn't feel very solid to me. Interesting features and design but the new prices were a little steep IMO.

My US Masters is a very fine bass. Solidly built, good ergonomics, great sounds, very versatile. Need I say more? (check my gear list to see what I'm talking about)

I have only had a chance to play one of thier guitars, and i liked it very much... However, I dont like new bass headstock design they came up with... I would love to test drive an older ep41 or ep42...

I've owned a bunch of EP41s and EP42s, and a few EP51s. All were really well built, used top-notch woods and hardware, and sounded / played great. The 5 string necks were a little chunky for me but that's true of most 5 string necks out there. Resale is very low so buy used.
