U.S. Peavey Club

Everyone using a lot of threads and getting event horizon to make a custom bridged cable

I was planning on using the pro base with either the IPR 1600 or use a GPS 900


Granted I’m aware with the power ratings are bridged

my question is is there a huge difference between the class A/B vs D

Obviously in terms of weight I’m going to feel it but in terms of that efficiency of power and now it’s dispersed what’s my best option

I checked FB Marketplace while in Jackson, MS visiting family last week and found this:

Despite the title, it's an 80s Foundation - dig the lightning knobs. The seller says that it's in near-perfect condition. In a rare show of restraint, I didn't pick it up. But one of y'all should!

Exactly my Foundation cost less than a Squier VM Jazz bass, & I would do the same again if I was looking for another bass.

Looks to me like someone replaced the acorn nut with a fender style one, possibly cuz they didnt have a long enough tool to reach the acorn

Oh they sell easy quick enough , just not at dumb prices :)

Few weeks back a fella I know bought a T-40 for £450, after I sent him replacement switches he sold it for £520.
Buyer was an upmarket shop in London , they have priced at £895.

Interesting thing is those prices. 7 / 8 year back UK T-40 prices were in the £400 to £500 bracket so no real increase today. Back then the same London shop would list T-40s for £850.

Weighed for inflation , T-40s are decreasing in value :thumbsup:

Certainly looks like some sort of TR nut fix.
Can't imagine that would sell for that price. Maybe if it was the Chip Todd Prototype or the Hartley owned one, maybe. Not a factory T40 with a TR nut fix.
