Have you clicked on the Peavey logo on the bottom left next to where it says Brand : Peavey ? It shows all the SOLD Peaveys. Some are REALLY, REALLY Sweet !!!

With products like that I’ve always wondered how they got produced. They are so obviously inferior and have such a polarizing look that the mind reels how they go from concept to design then to funding and eventually production and distribution. SO MANY hands involved. Meetings, R&D, etc. Was there not a single, solitary voice that had the common sense to say “what the hell are we doing??” Honestly Flea should be ashamed at himself as he knew his name was on hot garbage and gladly got paid for looking the other way. It’s not like he needs the money.
Used Fury V on Musician's Friend for $399, says great condition. No pics up yet, but I'm guessing it'll get snapped up before they get around to it...

The Flea Modulus is 100% a Stingray variant. The G Bass is similar, but the pickup placement is nudged into the classic Precision/L1000/T45 zone.
Same thing with the Fender Artist Flea Active Jazz Bass vs the Signature Roadworn Flea Jazz. One is yet another version of the Stingray, the other a riff on a classic J.
I've owned a company several times.
My prediction was that "some kids want a beginning bass." This discussion probably continued "how do we price it under $200 and still make $50 each."
These were on par with some of the horrid 70s Jbass copies with the chrome covered soap bar style pickups.
There's a Peavey Axcelerator for $199 in "fair" condition, but looks fine to me. I guess a phone call would be recommended, but I love my Ax.
