The secret is out. I think people finally realize you can get a well made US bass for half of what you will pay for a similar bass from Mexico or even Asia. Used Fender MIM's selling for $500 and up.

I searched the completed listings on eBay to see which bass you were referring to. There was a gold Foundation that went for $800, and one that appears to be mahogany that went for $280. This looks like a crazy deal was had. The listing was poorly written, and had a photo of the back of the bass as the main picture. The description said "Electric bass guitar. It makes noise. That is all I know."

To be honest, I don't think that's a hog foundation, its stripped poplar.
Yeah, I guess now that you say that, the grain doesn't look right enough to be mahogany.

Speaking of hogs...I was at my tech's shop yesterday, and he was showing me a bunch of random music stuff he had bought off a guy at his church, and then he pulled out a Peavey chainsaw case...I figured it was an ol' T-15 guitar or something ...nope.... it was a mahogany Patriot bass in excellent condition!

Good question! I would check with Amber on her Reverb account (Brown Eyed Girl) and see if she has anything to fit them...or wait and hope that she posts a neck to fit
Get the specs from other people here and approach a luthier to make it for you. Not difficult.
I was helping Amber identify parts and source a few buyers.
Bolt on Cirrus/Grind bodies she has , sadly no necks.
It doesn't matter , neck pockets are cut to suit necks.
All you need is a 34" scale neck.
You'll often see posts with "where can I get a square/round heel neck for ...".
You're starting with a blank canvas , you don't have those limitations .
Want a 20 fret Fender 51 neck on there ? Go right ahead , you're building a parts bass , the world is your oyster
@Bassinthemudd This is the one, not sure if it sold or ended. It was BIN, I still made a few offers, no go. Looks like a nice one.
