Now to find a neck

unless someone has the plans for a cirrus 5 neck and can just make the heel different

Nice Cirrus on CL, west of Baltimore. Might be priced a bit too high? Nice wood grain on that one, however. (No affiliation). [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Gorgeous, but a little too ambitious there on the price. I'd say it's $750 too much.

SO I just spent the last 4 hours going through my preamps. I have a drawer full of Cirrus pre's some work, some don't and some have lifted pads from installing them so many times in other basses. I'm getting super fed up and frustrated. I have had SO many problems with Milli pre's. They seem to get static interference, cut out, etc. I've tried cleaning solution spray Deox, and finally gave up.

The two pre's I just bought from Amber are for G-basses, so there's no blend pot. I tried taking the blend pot from another pre and ended up pulling the pads, too. UGHhhh...

So, now I have a bolt on without a pre.

I think I will try installing the Audere Pro Z I have laying around to see if that sounds good.

Any suggestions are welcome !

The preamp for the G-Bass is exactly a Cirrus preamp with only 1 pickup and few other soldering joints. Do you have the schematics?
The main issue is that the custom alpha potentiometers (they called them spider pots but they are technically PCB leg mounts) is that they have a different shaft length and diameter from what you can find. If you need some more I might know a guy (I bought some to fix my former G-Bass).
If you also have a B-Quad pre (or the entire bass to be honest!) and you want to get rid of them just let me know!

Or a Nordstrand 3B

Pics of the lifted traces? Let's see what you are working with.

The Fury looks like it has Cirrus electronics, as in the ones used in the BXP model.

The pickups are the same as the Cirrus but the preamp is different. The electronics sound very good on these basses but not quite as good as the USA Cirrus.

The Fury 5 and 6 were made in Korea. I have a very similar Millennium AC BXP for sale. It is almost identical to the Fury but was made in Indonesia instead of Korea. I owned a Fury 5 for a while and IMO this Millennium plays and sounds better. The electronics seem to be exactly the same as what was used in the Fury.

The Millennium is for sale and I'd like to move it. If someone here wants it, I will make you a good deal on it.
