GV owners, how is the neck as far as chunkiness? Does it compare to a Cirrus or is it bigger like a 7ender 5?

Also, anyone know the bridge string spacing?

I haven't played one of those. I just dont want a baseball bat neck like the Jazz Bass 5 string.

I’m in search of a T-40 case, I know I know it won’t be easy. I figure since I spent a pretty penny on a T four zero I might as well find the OG case.

There's a Peavey "chainsaw" bass case up for auction on ebay right now. Very reasonable shipping.

The change is the dimension of fretboard to back... Milleniums are thinnest ... then cirrus... then GV

Unfortunately, there are many J5 variants -- some are sleek... some are chunky

Just checked mine, saddles dropped to the deck.

Tale of the tape at 17th fret. 1.5mm on G , 1.75mm on E.

To 99% of the world's bass players that counts as a low action.

1mm is possible

Possible but impractical to 99% of the world's bass players.

Most folks do very well with the old F standard of 2mm on G and 2.5mm on E.
