I used to use Firefox years ago, but started noticing it not loading web pages, or at least being glitchy with certain aspects of pages. I would pull it up on Safari and it would work. Safari has worked fine for me.

I'll have to give that a try, then. I use Google Chrome.
EDIT : Just tried Safari with no luck. I guess time to go to Best Buy, or the "local used Mac guy" that every town has.

  • Hey guys, new member here. I’m a new bass player switching over from guitar and this is my first bass I picked up a few months ago. 1987 Foundation S this is the non active but I put in a set of standard PJ EMG’s and also switched out the knobs. Cleaned up nicely and after settling it up plays great. I kept all the original parts (pickups, controls, knobs) so it can be switched back to original. Bottom pick is how I received it.

Love it!!

The first bass I ever bought was my '89 Foundation S in that same color, but with black hardware. First thing I did was change the knobs to metal dome knobs - I hated those plastic ones. Around '92-93~ish, I put an EMG P/J set and a Hipshot Extender (they still made a Schaller version at the time) on it. I added an EMG BTC sometime in the late 90's.

Still have that bass and it's still one of my favorites. Plays and sounds amazing. Unfortunately, I did lose the original pickups that came with it somewhere over the years. Kinda sad about that, but I will never sell this bass, so re-sale is not an issue.

I loved this color when I saw it, about a month after I bought this, I found another one for sale, same color with black hardware. I wanted to buy it too but it sold before I had a chance.
I also like punk music and thought about selling this one to buy a Fender precision, but I just can’t let it go.

Welcome to the family, Gshock707 ! Are you from Sonoma County with a 707 area code ?
I own the EXACT bass, same color except I put active Seymour Duncans in mine, but I'm willing to guess yours sounds meaner, as SD's are usually more "polite" sounding.
Congrats and those are KILLER basses. I love mine. Plays so easily.
I love how you did yours. It looks so sleek and professional. The EMG logo and overall look sure adds to the look, as do the knobs. I think you picked the perfect knobs for it.

Yes I’m in Petaluma, the home of tone! Thanks I love how it turned out, I kind of bought this on a whim then found out they had a big following. They are great Basses for sure. I’m real happy with the EMG’s I have a set of 81/85 in a guitar plus I like to support local.
