How was peaveys other gear

Like the EDB-1

Most of it was good.
I like the EDB-1, it's a perfectly usable and functional DI.
They also made a cool DI in the 80s, the EDI. It was an early version of speaker simulated DIs, like the H&K Redbox. I would run the booster or speaker out of my Century 200 head to the EDI and that out to the PA. Sounded great, especially with more dirty/overdriven tones.

Please excuse the other basses in the pic, but this is my 1990 Sarzo. I purchased this used in 1998 while I was in the US Army stationed in Germany. It was purchased from a music store called Session Music (per a Google search, I guess it was Session Music Walldorf, although that name doesn't sound right to me, but the location seems right). It's a great bass, and I feel it was designed to do one thing, and one thing only: Rock! However, there was a period where it was my only functional bass, so it did whatever I needed it to do. It's still all original, and everything still works as it should.

I have yet to try a Sarzo, they sure do look cool! Its cool you've had it that long too!

What model is this? Would it be a 4 or 5 string? What scale would it have been?

Given that the routes, holes, shape scream G-V, and the G-V is the only one I've ever seen in that finish, I'm going with G-V. 35" scale. A Millennium 5 neck will also work. US one for sure, as they are 35". Not sure if a BXP neck would work. Probably, as over 2/3 of the difference between the scale length is in the neck.
