U.S. Peavey Club

My Peavey brethren… I know you guys bought up some EMG B-stock stuff when we all found out about the reverb store. A friend of mine bought a set of their B stock 40DC pickups, for a bass build I’m doing for him. Well, they sent 45DCs. And, we didn’t notice until assembly yesterday. The store has no more, and he wants to stay on budget.

Does anyone have a set they’d sell him?
I dont, but that sucks you had issues with the items.

  • Just snagged this cool looking Foundation S body (from amber's
Brown Eyed Girls Resale Reverb store ) for my custom build Peavey Foundation S project - Already have a nice new old stock rosewood Foundation-2000 neck (also from amber) for it .... No affiliation
When Derrick was selling this stuff for Peavey in 2019, he showed me this one and I wanted it but didn't pull the trigger. There were 2 of them, I wonder if Amber still has the other one and has not found it yet. Can't wait to see it finished.

Now which Sarzo are you referring to , both are active ?

Earlier model is the Sarzo , it used re-jigged T-40 pickups + the old Dynabass preamp.
Lady bass player I'm friends with refers to it as "the bass with no balls" ,sadly she's right. It's a great looking bass and greatly in need of a more powerful preamp to colour the tone.

Course when I finally get off my backside and list my Sarzo for sale ; I'll deny the above

I’m not finding this but maybe that says more about me than the bass, of course....

I didnt include the various power amps, rack systems and preamps. When I have time and my arthritis has improved (now we are heading into colder weather here in Aust) I will try and scan the 2 catalogs of the units I have listed here and then post them in amps and cabs forum as well as here if everyone would like to see the various amp models.
