U.S. Peavey Club

I'm sure this is a long shot, but thought I'd do some due diligence and post this. One of my pals in the PA scene shared this twitter post of someone's wine red t-45 in the ohsc being stolen. Just figure we're all always trolling for the next deal, might as well put it in the back of your heads! I guess let me know if you see anything similar, or of course reach out to the person if you engage in twitter. Thanks, Chris

I hate a (insert nastiest curse words you can think of) thief!!

1. I can't stand thievery!
2. Since the body color is really cool, I would likely go with a black pickguard on the T40 refin. But... fully understand being more unique, while looking good.
That said, perhaps a darker grey? Carbon fiber? Mirror? Black/white abalone? Black/white agate? Nova night sky? Silver Sparkle? Black Sparkle? Transparent smoke?

Thanks for the suggestions!

It’s next owner has made his choice, after being shown many of the suggestions that my Peavey folks had, and some my paint guy had as well. He went with what my wife, stepdaughter, and I liked the most - the tort.

If it has been brought up before then I apologize, but has anyone seen the items that seller aharbour2008 has on ebay? They are selling a lot of Peavey parts on there that I don't see pop up for sale often out of Meridian, Mississippi.

They have stuff like a G-Bass neck and what appears to be Cirrus and Rudy Sarzo prototype basses.

Yes Amber is pretty popular around here... That's the first assembled basses I've seen from her! The neck on that cirrus 4 is beautiful.

Cheers!

Listed as "Seller Refurbished" yet the treble pot needs replacing. Looks like a beautiful bass, but I think eBay needs a "seller started refurbishing, but didn't feel like completing the task" option. And the seller is Peaveyonline.

Fellow TBers,
Once again I am asking for your help.
I just received a Peavey B-Quad 4 advertised as "with original case".
Do you happen to know if this description for the case is factually correct? I can provide more measurements if this can help.

Problem is... the bass does not fit into the case properly. The neck does not rest in the "neck pocket" and the angled headstock is "poking" into the upper corner, where there is a tear (upper left corner of the interior, this might be the cause of the tear).
In particular if the G tuner is in vertical position it will be moved out of tune by the pressure of the upper lid.

Once again I thank you for all your help.

Anyone see this Cirrus? It has a different pre-amp and what looks like soapbar pickups as opposed to the typical VFLs.

I'm definitely intrigued!
TOTAL prototype, one of a kind. At least never released to the public. There could be a bunch in back rooms, etc. Who knows ?
