True not exactly stealth, but that's what I had in mind. Do you still own that bass?
yes, that is my single best playing/sounding instrument.

That looks sweet! I wonder if the scoop is what makes it a project.

This one is a USA Peavey, yes?
My guess would be Vietnam.
B50KReplacing the pots on one of my broken cirrus preamps..
the eq pots. I found some linear taper pots with a center dente. 10k? Or 50k?
Chuck, I think Tallulah was referring to the Grind.Made in Meridian. Definitely a USA bass.
I have my pickups set so the mounting ears are just about level with the body. I can measure the string to pickup distance sometime today or tomorrow. Also
what’s everyone’s pickup height for a GV/ cirrus ?
been having a rough time trying to find a sweet spot
Howdy y'all?
Here's an update on the gold Fury I bought some time back... Now it's a Furydation.
The neck had truss rod issues. My tech couldn't seem to get the board off, it was splintering and would've trashed it....his theory as to what's going on with it...he thinks after he tightens it and after a day the end slips a bit and the relief (to much) comes back...
I bought the foundation neck along with a Pat neck off reverb a while back...and it's paid off. I had the neck plate added, I think they're cool. I really like how thorough the bill is, I'm lucky to have found this guy, he does awesome work.
This is a great playing bass now, I'm really happy with it.
Cheers!

Silk?I’m hearing my preamp turn on but no ouput in my g bass
18Vs is seen
But I think I have a short in the wire for the pick up
why is wiring a pick up hot with the silk so hard?
I used a lighter to burn the silk
Agree it looks great...super piece of rosewood on there alsoThat looks beyond killer. The neck on my blue fury that I had in high school had similar issues, and I eventually replaced it with a foundation neck too.
I stripped the hot wire / white pickup wireSilk?
