Speaking of customs, I'm curious about this one silver/rosewood with black headstock...would this have been considered a custom?

I caught that one as well, I assumed it was a parts build, but I suppose it could be a custom?
I wonder if that schaller bridge is stock. I feel like you’d be able to see the holes from the trapezoid, but it could also be one of those later ones that used the Patriot style bridge.
It states "upgraded" bridge. No extra holes though, hmmm!
Exactly my thought. This is putting off a "Parts" vibe to me, too. I would think they would have sprayed the headstock silver to match the body, like all other Customs seen in the wild. Plus, in regards to the hardware color, the carpet doesn't match the drapes. The 3D4 was stock on Dynas, but not Foundys. I guess there is always a chance it was thrown on the body at the factory, but I'm not sure about that. The 3D4 would not cover the saddle-side mounting holes of the Trapazoid bridge. Plus, the finish has really bad orange peel, so it may be a refinish.
Along with the Schaller 3D it sports Ibanez style strap buttons.

Really digging this 1989 Fury that I got a few months ago. I have a Fender P-Bass so wanted to make this a little different so installed EMG GZR pickup and DR Lo-Rider strings. Loving the little more aggressive tone as opposed to the LaBella flats on the Fender. Also, I like the BWB pickguards on a sunburst with maple neck so changed out the white PG and, for nostalgia, installed the Gen 1 knobs.
I should be in possession of this mid week.
