I'd so rock that banana yellow bass!
I'm also a drummer and have an equally curated collection of drums. One of which is a similarly colored set of Sonor Force 2000 from the early 90s. These MIG drums came in Black, White, Blue, Red and Yellow. Yellow being the most rare. This is the sizes set up in my jam space (10 14 16 20 and 14x6.5 snare). I also have many, many more sizes...

Hey all, I asked the guy in the Patriot thread about the yellow body, here's his response. He also gave the guy an old empty cab. Pretty cool!!
Hi Nick! There's a really bizarre story behind that body.
I came across the body at a local store, and bought it cheap because of the condition of the body and the bad neck, and I ended up mounting an aluminum neck to it.
My drummer and I were hanging out at our rehearsal spot one day, and another buddy of ours showed up and I showed him the bass. He loved it and mentioned that he had a similar yellow Patriot, and a band mate took it from their practice space years ago and sold it. He started looking through the pics on his phone, and turns out it was the same body! He was very happy that I bought it and resurrected it, and said his old band mate reimbursed him for stealing that bass and that I should rock the hell out of it.
After he left, I looked at my drummer and said I couldn't keep the bass because it was stolen from him. The next day, I put the original bad neck on the bass, and gave it back to him. It was the right thing to do.

We took a giant step from what the heck are "bikkies" to the world is made up of yellow basses, outfits, bands and people, not to mention yellow hair. I think I fell down the rabbit hole lolll
Some fella started a thread asking why BC Rich, Charvel, Hamer, Kramer and Jackson dropped off the radar.

My son just called and said his bass has a very low output. He has a USA Millennium with a Cirrus pre. He has changed the batteries coming from a freshly opened pack. He is 2 hours away, so I just told him to make sure the batteries were in there correctly. Any ideas on why new batteries weren't solving the problem?
This hints that the preamp was swapped.
Was the cirrus preamp installed correctly?
Did they clean the pots etc?
Have him look to see if the contacts where the 9v's touch is dirty, cleanable with a pencil...
I put together the bass with parts from when Derrick Cook was selling off Plant B leftovers. I had the Cirrus pre and used that. He has been playing it for over 3 years and usually changing the batteries has worked in the past. I'll get him to try and clean the battery leads.
Love the Sonors...fellow Sonor brother here too. The only F2000 I own is a snare and it cracks.I'd so rock that banana yellow bass!

For kits I have F3000s, Sonorlites, and an older tube lug F2001 that I gave to my son. Plus Paiste cymbals galore. LOL
