I'm also a drummer and have an equally curated collection of drums. One of which is a similarly colored set of Sonor Force 2000 from the early 90s. These MIG drums came in Black, White, Blue, Red and Yellow. Yellow being the most rare. This is the sizes set up in my jam space (10 14 16 20 and 14x6.5 snare). I also have many, many more sizes...

Might have raised £200 but certainly not the £385 one eBay seller is hoping for. Pretty sure that eBay seller asked me for pricing advice, told him no UK sales in the previous 6 months made over £199. Next day I spotted his ad £380, that was last August
Tuesday saw a T-40 auction end, from 24 watchers just 3 entered a bid. Opening price was £400, ended at £477. So much for "highly sought after/rare/collectable"

It has a breakdown chart of the color options for each model. I think I copied those scans..? I'll see if I can find them. It will be easier to find them on my computer than in this loooong thread. haha.
This is my pearl white FoundRiot, flanked by the two black 84s. It has since received a truss rod cover and the black tuner has been removed and a chrome Xtender key is on the low E.
After getting the wide nut 85 Patriot neck for my RicRiot, I had the original narrow nut neck off my 87 Patriot, some extra tuners, a couple SF pickups and some green J bass knobs laying around. This body (loaded with the pots, jack, bridge and neck plate) popped up on ebay for $50. Grabbed it and put together another bass! I was pleasantly surprised it was a pearl white body, as it was described as just 'white.' TBH, I don't like white instruments, but the price was right and pearl white is actually very nice, I can fully hang with that color, it's not flat and 'boring' to my eye.

Hi Nick! There's a really bizarre story behind that body.
I came across the body at a local store, and bought it cheap because of the condition of the body and the bad neck, and I ended up mounting an aluminum neck to it.
My drummer and I were hanging out at our rehearsal spot one day, and another buddy of ours showed up and I showed him the bass. He loved it and mentioned that he had a similar yellow Patriot, and a band mate took it from their practice space years ago and sold it. He started looking through the pics on his phone, and turns out it was the same body! He was very happy that I bought it and resurrected it, and said his old band mate reimbursed him for stealing that bass and that I should rock the hell out of it.
After he left, I looked at my drummer and said I couldn't keep the bass because it was stolen from him. The next day, I put the original bad neck on the bass, and gave it back to him. It was the right thing to do.
Is he trying to use a rechargeable battery? If so, have him try an Alkaline or better regular 9 volt.
I have owned a quite a few Sonors over the years, but this modest F2K is the one that stuck. I certainly have a grip of Paistes, too! haha.
