I agree the patriot is awesome it just wasn't getting played with the foundation getting all the love!
The set is the standard cirrus 4 string set the slinky set should match the same that 105-45 i think too. I did have it down tuned that's what most of our originals are in C# on the e half step on everything else.
Thanks for the compliment on the tunes we work hard at it I'm glad you like it we can always open with your sons group if a gig were to happen you know where i am at!

Thanks for the kind words, and input on the neck wood folks.

The axcellerator is a super nice piece, I almost got a purple 5er, but it was little too "hi-fi" sounding for my taste, maybe it was just the preamp wasn't warm enough but while it felt great in my hands, the sound was just a little scooped and clean sounding for me. Also not a big fan of a bridge pickup that close to the bridge. Neck pickup was great though.

If the price was right I might pick one up and swap in a different preamp, or wire it passive volume-blend-tone.


edit: that TL-5 still looks awesome, blows my project bass out of the water thats for sure :D

Very cool as I remember the hoops I had to go through to originally go through to special order it.... cooler as I had it on the "maybe sell it when the cool guy comes along and will baby it"

Fedex Sux (not as bad now as a 3rd party figured out who owns it)
