I'm shure you'd choke and wheeze when you found out how much my earlier one went for...

I'll add that it was the earlier non blade pickup... and I had a matching serial number fretless (with FL marking) on it.

This left the stable about 4 years ago (before the T40 prices inched up).

The guy saw it and gladly paypalled for it....

Everytime someone goes "a T40 never sells for that much" I remember the day I shipped it.

The "prettier' T40s seem to be those that find them "pretty"... can pay for them.. then face the music that other basses play/sound

I probably played mine 10 hours the entire series of decades I owned it.

I'm sure folks thought I was nuts (years ago) when I bought a specific/rare trans red TL for nutty cash... I'm sure they thought the owner was silly when he bought it... I'm sure there are about 30 of us on this forum that would play 2x what he did.

Quite sincererly.. my $$$$$$$ botique stuff isn't any better than a Millenium (after you know the setup tricks)

I guess we both had to go through hoops to get it. Not your fault in anyway. My band started to think I was full of it..about buying it. I will silence them soon enough.

Coleen deserves a raise and should be Fedex employee of the month, maybe the year.

Alright so after discovering how awesome these US Peaveys are when I rebuilt the beat up '89 Foundation I got for free, I have managed to wrangle up a dyna unity bass, g bass, millenium plus (and yet another on hold), and a b quad. Pics in the near future, no worries :p
However, I would love to put hipshot detuners on the g and b quad. Which models will fit and match aesthetically?
