U.S. Peavey Club

Quick question for all you Peavey aficionados. I have a couple of USA peavey's I am wanting to put on the TB classifieds, but I wanted to see what a fair price might be. I am a supporting member, of course.

First a 1989 Foundation S Active, it's really hard to find a search with just the "s" as the differentiator :)

The other is a 1994 Foundation 5 string with the VFL's

Any help would be much appreciated (I am trying to get some dough up to get a used US Cirrus)

The going rate for a Foundation S is $200, give or take a little. A Foundation 5 runs around $150.

$200 sounds about right for a 1986/87 Foundation S. The later ones tend to sell for less, but the active ones are somewhat rare so it could be worth more that $200.

What color is your Foundation S ?

Here's a pic of my finished T-40 makeover. It's done except I'm missing a couple of pickguard and pickup cover screws. Getting those tomorrow. Just figured I'd share.

That looks fantastic!

Made a bit of switch today- sold a US Mill 5 standard to a fellow TB'r, and picked up a GV! Been wanting a graphite-necked bass for some time now, and this one came up on the GC used site at a good price. Very excited! I may try putting the graphite neck on my Mill 5+ just for fun!

Just picked this beauty up yesterday...

Based on serial number, it looks to be a 1985. In excellent condition, with just some light scratches overall. Plays and sounds amazing! Just needs a little tweak of the truss rod, and should be in top form.

Aside from the joining the club, I have a question as well. On the neck heel there's an extra hole/screw. Looks a bit like a micro tilt adjustment. Can someone confirm what it may be, and it's usage?

Thanks!

And yes, that's the adjustment hole for the neck-tilt.
