On the early model T-40s, both switches had small, flat handles.
0 and 10 should line up with the dot on the pick guard. Loosen the knob set screw and adjust.

Ok thanks. I'm gonna order a switch. Anything I should look for to be correct. My pup switch looks to be bent a little. There are some in eBay. C&K brand
What size is the Allen screw in the knobs. I must be missing the one that fits. There not in their cases so Idk what size to buy.
the T60 is a guitar, so I would expect there to be a big length difference, and width, and the cutout for the smaller guitar body would probably not fit a t40 body.
Yea I know it's a guitar I thought they used the same body t-60 and t -40 the length was my concern
maybe they did use the same size, it was simply my assumption that they did not. my apologies. but regardless, the t40 neck would be much longer, so if the cases were the same size, there would be a ton of extraneous space at the headstock of the t60. in every t60 case picture I have seen there is no extraneous space, so I would say the cases are different, and the t40 case is longer

I can't wait to get started cleaning mine up and giving it the once over. It'll need a bit of attention since I found it at a pawnshop. First... truss adjustment. It's better suited for shooting arrows at the moment, but I'm hopeful it'll have close action soon. Then I'll get my regular tech guy to get the frets perfect.
I've got what appears to be a Peavey T60 (or other "T-series") guitar Contour case. I'd be real happy to swap it for a T40 Peavey bass Contour case. Foam or lining condition or presence not important. Mine is bare anyway. I've gotten a supply of foam and "velvet" material from a fabric store, and am going to restore almost all the Peavey Contour cases I have anyway.
I have owned my Dyna Unity for seven months. It is totally the best feeling bass I have owned in 40 years. My hands love it. However I am not as excited about the sound. I mainly play with the "P" pickup on full with no or little of the "J" blended in. To my ears the sound lacks the depth (thickness) and definition of notes I would like. It is better in the active position but still not where some of my passive basses are in the same regard. I am looking for FAT rich tone. Is it there or am I looking at a pickup change? For reference.......when I add the "J" pickup only the voice of the tone changes. Thanks!

First let me say that I don't have a lot of experience with different P and J pickups as far as spending time with them. I do have a bass with the Seymour Duncan SPB-3 & SJB-3 pickups and they sound kind of like what you describe, just some lack of depth. Several years ago I installed a set of DiMarzio DP126 P&J in a Dyna Unity for a friend that I got to spend some live time with and they did everything I wanted and my buddy was happy with them, too. Plenty of bottom end and the EQ on the Dyna could dial it back to a more traditional sound. The adjustable pole pieces really helped set the balance between strings, too. I believe this is the same set used on the Foundation S models and maybe an owner/user will chime in. I don't have one but have not read or heard anything less than good about the sound.
If you read the Pickup & Electronics Forum you'll find more opinions on Fender type pickup choices than you can possibly read but I don't think you'll find a better choice for their moderate price.

The original pickups are a little weak
I found this out after replacing the pickups with a matched set of Bartolini's they were a perfect fit. I believe they cost me $150 delivered from Musicians Friend. The results were amazing.
Depending which model pre amp you have there is a adjustment screw in the back of the circuit board. Mine has a access hole in the rear cover.
