I’ll ship to you
I’ll ship to you
I checked the customs situation last night there iwould get hit with 21% that's unavoidable. If you could get me an idea of shipping I could be interested. By slow boat via China for all I care as long as it's insured I'm in no rush. A nice fury or patriot would go for 250-300 here when they come up so if I can get one here for less than that it may be worth a pop ;)
@Mark Andrew

Where are you looking ? Those Foundation prices are about the same as in the UK. If they are double that in The Netherlands, I'll be getting the ferry over when I sell up :)
As close as possible usually in the UK usual story don't need one but my fury gets allot of use and needs a new neck and I have never really fell in love with the sound of the Dyna. Some of the minters than come up on here are allot better than most of the evil bay stuff I've seen for the last year or two last fury i followed went for 270 last foundation 220. There is an upturn in the price and they are not that regular anymore....if you are in the UK and selling up that's more interesting to me as I can get them sent to my folks no shipping no tax. What you got ? :) no disrespect to our American Tbers intended I am still interested in rough shipping prices from US.

Mine is a cirrus, if you're willing to pay to ship and the duties I have no problem shipping to you. I guess I'd need a shipping address to work out shipping charges PM me if interested...

@Tdub77
Doesn'y your Cirrus have a bubinga top ? If it does then you'd need CITES paperwork to ship outside the USA.

@Mark Andrew

Any time I've bought a bass from the States shipping is normally around $120,same deal whether the bass is in a case, gigbag in box. It's minimum air fare :)

As to what I've got ? You name it, chances are I have it :thumbsup: Not selling up yet though but I'll keep you in mind when I do. When I see any Furys or Patriots I'll give you the shout OK.

I was a little to hopeful on the shipping costs it seems.....

I bought a really nice Forum 4 off Ebay recently for $129. Great deals can still be had.
My 85 black on maple Foundation covered in stickers and dings under $50 out the door many years ago.....had to tighten the neck several times....killer bass

89 Fury white w RW board, black hardware and headstock with Duncan SPB1 vintage P pickup, tort Chandler guard and Fender 9050's under $100 many years back.....same deal had to tighten the neck several times....another monster

Both had noisy dirty pots and loose pots and jacks....sat in pawns for a year or more then got marked way down.

Recent years USA Peavey basses sell fairly quickly in the same midwest pawns if under $200....i watch Guitar Center used not much there under $200.

Heads up— Knoxville TN Guitar Center has a T-45 marked $499 and sadly.... it’s only worth about $200 as it sits, IMO. I played it: electronics are a wreck and the neck is bowed badly. The pickup probably has a dead coil as it has very low output and I can’t detect the switch from humbucker to SC when I tweak the middle tone knob. The frequency rolloff pot seems to do nothing at all. They don’t budge on prices so steer clear of it.

All Fury models?
Really love the one I have but needs work my precision gets back up duty and I may part with my Dyna. I prefer the p bass style pickup so think this is a series 2 early 90s model? In my profile shot. Can't seem to get where I want to be with the super ferrites nowadays remember loving them back in the day....not a fan of bright colours.....any fury with a p bass pickup in the UK could be of interest. How does the patriot sound compare?

You like the J style neck on the Fury?

I own a 1st gen Fury with the slant SF pickup but its so minty i rarely play it, BUT the cool thing is it has the bigger P style neck, so its a rarer beast among Fury basses, its light weight as well.....i get along fine with the J neck fwiw.

I like the SF pickups just fine, but my main amp is an Eden Metro with extensive EQ available on the 2nd channel.

If you are after a P bass with a J neck but the Fender style P pickup, the later versions are near perfect....there is something cool about the SF pickups when you play around with the EQ imo.
