Seems like the Fury's transitioned earlier maybe. There's plenty of them about with the single piece plus board neck. Mine is this way. But my Foundation of the same era is a two-piece neck.

I've had this T-45 for about twenty years. It was fretless when I got it, but I took it to Elderly Instruments to true up the neck and have the fretboard smoothed and refinished, because the previous owner really loved their roundwound strings. That work ended up costing more than the bass did, but I've never regretted it; it feels nice to play.
Since I know people have a thing about how massive these are, I weighed mine before taking these pics. 11 pounds exactly. I prefer to play sitting down anyway

G Bass, Dyna Bass Unity Ltd and the rig at a Harley dealership gig this afternoon. 95 F and 98% humidity.

It was 4 sets from noon till 4, I drank about 3 quarts of sports drink and still didn't widdle as much as I should have. At least there was a good breeze.
OK, picture this. Walking past a music store i hardly ever go in, they have few instruments and specialize in lessons,fair enough. So, sitting in the window display is a white foundation with a maple board and 3 strings. Of course it must be rescued! Without a moments hesitation i pop in and say "how much is that doggie, sorry, Peavey in the window?" "Not for sale he says". I consider (unfairly of course) calling him a bad name, smile weakly and split.
I figure if it wasn't for some stranger pulling out all fretwire, and the tech at Elderly planing off a lot of rosewood, the stock model must've been heavier by, I dunno, two or three pounds at least

I did landscaping work most of today... Sunny ..100 degrees max/93 average ..with 65-87% humidity throughout the day.
It was a little warm....but it's a DRY HEAT!!...
I smell awesome right now.

Tell the dummy to at least put a 4th string on it so the neck doesn’t twist or warp. And, it will also make the store look more professional and less like a pawn shop.
