Has anyone here had a pickguard made for a Gen2 Fury (Titan tuners, ring headstock, SplitP Pickup)?

This one may be obscure (and short lived) enough that Pickguard Heaven may not have a template.

Never had the PG made but I do own a Gen 2 Fury. Happy to scan and scale the PG if you need a template.

I've bought several different Peavey pickguards from Chandler Music's Pickguardplanet and all were excellent. Here's two on the Fury model you described. PG 326.

Thank you... this is the model I'm considering adding back to the herd.

Part of the decision is if there are replacement pickguards

Here's a rough Christmas practice recording of an Axcellerator in a Band context.

Strings: DR HiBeams
Bass: Axcellerator 5
Amp: None - DI to Board
Board Signal Processing: None... everything is neutral
Signal Chain: Shure Wireless > Boss Tuner > Compressor > MXR M80

I did this without a pick.. fingers

Here's an old thread of mine where I stripped a 3rd gen Fury. It's was 3 or 4 blocks of wood glued together with veneers on from and back. It has polyurethane paint. I took it off with a heat gun and putty knife. Trying to sand through that stuff would be a nightmare.

This guy in France thinks he's got a Cirrus Sarzo. Looks super clean though, aside from the usual tape holding in the battery. If the prices on these are trending in this direction I should have held on to mine a little longer.

France can be an expensive place but after 3 months you'd think he'd notice.

A - His price is way too high.
B - That's not a Cirrus.

I hope santa put something Peavey under the tree for you all. Mine came in the form of an old 410 tx old man kindly refurbished cosmetically it's in good shape now. Forgot how nice those cabs sounded. Nice to have one back....

Reverb.com has always been WAY TOO expensive. Their prices are above list price. I just don't get it. You really need to know what you're looking for and know the market to buy from that sight or you will pay too much. That Rudy Sarzo "Cirrus" is clean, but it's still only a $650 bass.

I've gotten some bargains off Reverb. Some of the prices are way too high but if you watch you can score something good for a fair price. I've made low offers on basses and had them accepted. Some folks just overprice their stuff or have not really researched what similar items go for. I bought one bass for $510 delivered and there is another one in the same condition on Reverb now for $1199 plus shipping.

All the non-expensive items got bought up before you found them, so only the expensive ones remained.

The way to shop Reverb/Ebay/Amazon etc. is to have patience and set up a price watch, which is a webservice that will notify you when an item matching your search criteria (eg, "Peavy Rudy Sarzo") appears at or below your price threshold. (Reverb and Ebay will do this for you. Amazon won't, but there are third party sites like camelcamelcamel.com that do Amazon price watches.)

Wow, Check out this TL5 on Guitar Center site. To me, it's the Peavey Alembic bass. I wish there was a TL4 though. Only $499, too !!
