That was my observation with the Cirrus basses I owned and played too! Practically zero relief, and had to force a string to buzz! Whenever I describe the quality of those basses to people, I tell them about the fretwork. And, I have yet to meet someone that played one that didn’t say they wanted to buy it.Peavey really had it together on the fret jobs on the USA made basses. Even the budget basses seem to have excellent fret jobs but the Cirrus, Millennium and this TL5 are second to none. I have basses that have been plek'd and they are no better than what Peavey was doing by hand. My hat is off to those craftsmen who did such wonderful work.
