Actually, I got the bridge pretty cheaply through Carvin, when they were clearing out their usage of B-style bridges.

I am looking for a Forum P/J for a friend. The passive version is what I am looking for. Please let me know if you have one or know where I can find one.
A Foundation S might sound like this Forum but I don't think it will because the S has Schaller pickups. I don't know what PUs were used in the passive Forum P/J but they sound heavenly. I should have made note of where the info was but I read that the Forum that I have was in production for a very short period and then they went to the Forum AX 4 and 5's. That is likely why I have yet to see another for sale. There is at least one Forum Plus on GC's website but that is the one that has active PU's.

That one does not have the Schaller pickups on it, if you look at the pole pieces they are not the black Dimarzio type adjustable pole pieces that Schaller made to be like Dimarzios.
These may be Peavey passive split P pickups like yours, or after-market replacements.
Will only cost $20.95 shipping to customer home to find out, can be returned to local GC within 45 days for credit, less that $20.95 shipping.

I see pole pieces, too. It looks like the active version (no pickup surrounds) that had a pickup swap.
IIRC the Claro Walnut Cirrus were all gloss finish. I'm not certain that is a Walnut top. It could be Wenge. Whatever the top is that is a very pretty bass and I love the figure in the top.
You're right !!! I meant wenge !!! It's been a LONG time since I owned my wenge, so I forgot, but to me, it's the prettiest top the Cirrus had and the rarest, maybe.
I have a Wenge top 6 but that highly figured top on that 5 is beautifully figured. The top on my 6 is nice but more plain looking.

Has anyone encountered a problem with the truss rod stripping out in a Foundation? and then being difficult to remove and replace due to jamming? My luthier is having a tough time to the point that he's considering a neck replacement. Already in the process of removing the finger board to get the truss rod free.
