I have a 210 with a Tour 700. I am considering the 115, or another 210. How does the combination Tour 210 + Tour 115 work?

1985 Fury
The case is from a Dyna bass I owned a long time ago, but my 1st real bass that I bought myself was a red Fury. When I seen this on Craigslist for $125 I had to snag it.
That looks exactly like my Fury I, same color, maple neck. You even bought it for the same price!
Need to join...have early 90s Fury and early 90s fretless foundation.

I have been scanning this forum for talk of the G-bass (which I just got) and I can't really find anything. I really kinda just want to evangelize how awesome this bass is. I thought I love my 12 year old MIA Jazz, but now that thing is just dead to me. Any other G-bass owners out there?

The one on the left is a USA Peavey Millennium 5 plus. They quit making them about 8 or 9 years ago I believe. Not to be confused with the import bxp millenniums. Totally different bass. They show up here in the TB classifieds from time to time and also on ebay. Originally sold in the $1200-$150 range and go for $350-$600 used great deal for a great bass.

I've owned a few.. they're great basses.. unfortunately they don't show well in pix... the glitter doesn't make sense until from audience distance.. most folks take pix of a closeup.
IF you find them too high/mid... there is a TB thread on converting to a warmer Millenium thread.
I sold mine to a Berklee student who was deciding between a Modulus Flea and the Gbass.. he kept 1000 in the bank by going G... then called the next day wanting a 2nd.

If you like a Gbass and can choke a $1000+ price tag a BQuad is worth the time...
DO NOT waste any time on one that has been modded.. the mojo is in the electronics.. I'm unsure with Wilkenson and Bart designs through a custom preamp how a Musicians Friend order can improve one.
IF someone is interested, I"m considering moving my GBass 4 (also own a 5)- would consider a Millenium Plus 5 as partial trade.... PM -- don't keep on the board.

Id like a B-Quad as well but the extra cost is only worth it if youre realy going to be using all the electronics its packed with. If i had the money id be all over one but in all honesty id be happy just to find a G-V. I really need to stop thinking about the B-Quad before i spend money i shouldnt. lol

I really love this thing, first bass I bought myself, built like a rock, totally versatile sound, but its breaking my one-week rule (if I don't play a bass at least once a week, I probably don't need it) and really I have barely played it at all in the last couple months.
Yes it can get a lot of different sounds, but I've now bought or built (mostly the latter) basses that cover all those tones and more, and each either looks nicer, weighs less, are easier to plug and play/dial in tones, or have other features the T-40 doesn't, not to mention all are easier to repair or replace (mine IS over 30 years old now)
So I'm thinking it deserves a home where it will get the play it deserves, and trust me mine's seen its share, definitely a player with all the dings and wear.
Gonna take some time to think about it, last thing I want is for it to become "one that got away", but ill be sure to post when I do.

The electronics are packed with it.. the BQuad is a better playing and sounding instrument
IF you're open to a $1000 used bass, this is a prudent buy..
I don't run around suggesting them as they're in the price range of a Modulus, Zon, Bogart etc.. on non peavey threads some may not be the right fit.
The BQuad is like a Gbass with a side baked potatoe, home made bread, glass of chablis, baked alaska and a cheerleader serving it...
Like noted, this is the price point where some european botiques may be worthy investigations.

I'm with you.. out of all of them.. this is the one I never got.. a T20 has the same mojo.. sounds great.. weighs less.
I'd bet you could trade your T40 for a Fury and Foundation..
IF your bass is in good condition, please post it here before the ads.. it would be nice to have it go to a loving home.

I sold mine and never looked back.
I still have a Foundation and a Fury.
I like to think that the T-40 is played by someone who clicked with it.
I never clicked, I did not like it. Too bulky, too heavy, not really my bass, that is all.
