There is no such thing as an EXP. The one on Ebay is a misspelling. I remember seeing that. Millenniums are better than the Dynas, IMO.

The foundation is the passive bass that the Dyna-Bass was derived from. Your's is about a '92 model. I like them a great deal. The neck is more like a satin finish than the high gloss'80's models. The body is much lighter than the earlier ones too. Yours still has the superferrite pickups(later replaced with VFLs) which seem to be the favorites(I prefer the warmer but less aggressive VFLs). Get it set up and play the stink out of it. It will shock many jazz bass players.

i had been watching that foundation for a month - glad someone else got it!

it's pretty much identical to what mine was when i bought it, save for the maple fretboard (mine is rosewood). hopefully my lust for a fretted 4 is calmed now ... no way i can afford any more gear anytime soon ...

I'm confused. Help me out here Floyd, when you say Mill BXP, is that the same guitar that GC sells for 239? If so, can't imagine why anyone would pay 3 for used. If it isn't the same guitar, then explain to me the differences so I can learn as I go. Thanks

I really don't know Jack. I can't imagine GC selling an American made active Peavey bass for under $300 though. I could be wrong.

I got my BXP brand spankin new for just under 300 and that was some years back, maybe its a used BXP that someone put aftermarket pickups or EQ in and thats why the price is so high?
